My Eyes.... I'm Blind!!

So this is my submission for the 'This Is Something Up In The Air' brief. I wanted to carry on with the intricate pattern work I've been developing lately. The image is designed to be an A2 poster so it won't be so mind bogglingly busy when up on the wall. It's an illustration of the quote 'Aim for the moon... Even if you miss, you may hit a star'.

I never want to see a target or star again.

Occasionally I like to dabble in philosophy. Not in a la-di-da, I like to quote Nietzsche at fabulous dinner parties kind-of way... more of a wandering curiosity, or more a literary comfort... looking for people a lot cleverer than me who also think that our existence and our society and everything else is entirely arbitrary.

Ode To A New Scanner

Hooray! My new scanner is here. I have spent a wonderful evening archiving old work, and hopefully will get my website on the go very shortly. In the meantime, I have compiled an eclectic selection of images from the past four years:

I have a new mug!


My lovely housemate took me to "All Fired Up" in Bournemouth for a lovely cup of coffee, chocolate cake and crockery-painting session.


It was nice to paint something for purely decorative purposes. I put my name on it so that nobody else can drink out of it.


I also added a mouldy old teabag design in the bottom for a bit of fun. The lady in the shop said she liked it. My only issue now is that I have is that I have nothing to drink coffee out of.
